Policies, Disclaimers, Terms & Conditions
Thank you for visiting Maida Services for your New Hampshire or Massachusetts Commercial or Home Inspection needs. By requesting information and/or using our site, you consent to our Privacy Policy, agree to the Terms and Conditions of our practice and acknowledge the Content Disclaimer pertaining to Maida Services, our websites and applicable services. Please read this information entirely.

Quotations / Cost for Services:
As of January 1, 2012, all given costs for services -verbal or in writing- including but not limited to Commercial Inspections, Home Inspections, Pest (WDI) Inspections, Radon Testing and Water Testing should be considered "cash prices", are supplied in good faith, and do not account for erroneous property descriptions, supplemental services, optional fee based services, or additional charges such as returned checks, processing fees or multiple visits to the property.

Payment Options:
Payment is accepted at the end of the on-site portion of the inspection by cash, personal check, business check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover. Effective 1/1/2012: Additional processing fees apply to all credit card transactions; and all returned checks are charged the vendors subsequent overdraft fees. At Maida Services discretion, if Payment is not submitted at the inspection, OR, if payment does not process, reports, including Laboratory Results may be held until payment is received.

Property Inspection Reports:
New Hampshire or Massachusetts Home Inspection reports and Commercial Inspection reports are confidential and for the exclusive use of our client. We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer reports -or any portion of- without the express permission of our client. Authorized requests for the release of any report -or any portion of- may be subject to processing fees and/or availability.

Optional Fee Based Services:
Optional fee based services including but not limited to Radon Air Testing or Water Testing reports are available (for a limited time) on the associated laboratory's website, and/or, our client may also request a mailed copy. Although Maida Services makes efforts to ensure our clients receive their laboratory reports, it is our client's sole responsibility to access and retain their reports/results.

Cancellation Policy:
Maida Services reserves the right to apply a $150.00 fee (per time-slot) when appointment changes or cancellations occur within 48 hours of the scheduled start time. Cancellation fees may also be applied when appointment changes or cancellations occur which result in the inability to accommodate a confirmed inspection appointment (loss of work during our busy season). The cancellation fee is non-refundable, and may not be applied toward the cost of a future/re-scheduled inspection.

Maida Services, Inc. does NOT perform removal, cleaning, mitigation or remediation (including removal plans) of any substance in the aforementioned.  While we may provide testing, interpret results or point out problem areas, this should not be misconstrued as a resolution, solution, or full remediation advice. After a client receives their verbal or physical report, they may wish to seek additional advice or further consultation from a Certified Industrial Hygienist, a Remediation Specialist or a professional in the corresponding field. Maida Services cannot refer clients to specific professionals, individuals, or companies providing these services, as to do so would be a conflict of interest.

Detailed information on the aforementioned including microbiological organisms, human exposure and health information, remedial activities, etc., should be obtained from the appropriate resources. Maida Services, Inc., Maida Home Inspection, ASHI Certified Degreed Licensed Home Inspectors, WeHomeInspect.com, MaidaInspection.com and/or their affiliates shall not be held liable for the accuracy and/or use of any information provided herein.

Privacy Policy

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information; our site does not use cookies or process credit cards. Further, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirement 4.2 states that credit card information must not be captured, transmitted, or stored via email; email is transmitted and stored -unprotected- in clear text and leaves a trail of copies.

We may collect information from you on the phone or on our site when you make general inquiries, schedule, order services, subscribe to our site feed or fill out a form. When scheduling, ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, property address and/or phone number.

Any of the information we collect from you at any time may be used to personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs); to improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website based on the information and feedback we receive from you); to improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs); or, to respond to your inquiries, and questions regarding provided services.

Your information, whether public or private, is not sold, traded, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason unless for the express purposes of processing transactions, delivering the purchased product, or providing services requested. Trusted third parties who assist us in conducting our business or servicing you keep this information confidential. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Residents of CA: Please inform our staff that you are a resident of California during you initial contact. We value your privacy and have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties (including Laboratories) without your consent.

Our website, products and services are all directed to people who own, buy or sell homes. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act) and we do not intentionally collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. However, this website contains forms which do not implement additional security measures.
